Check another national park off the list! Winter break brought us to the National Mall and Washington D.C. We have been planning to do this family trip for some time…and we got to make it a framily one. Hooray for the Sofianos joining us in the sunny and very cold weather. Look at those blue skies!
We walked many steps to see just a fraction of this historic place. We saw as much as possible and squeezed in as much fun as we could to a long weekend before the holiday.

Our 3 hour bus tour took us to Alexandria, to see the National Tree and the Capitol, Willard Center, Opry Hotel for a bit of a light show and Judiciary Square.
This was a fun way to wrap up our Washington DC tour with the holiday lights. We always have a great time and a lot of laughs together. I think Chris finally unfroze.
