New Years Eve in Iowa

Since we missed Thanksgiving, we decided to make our way to Iowa to see family after Christmas.  It was so good to see them.  It has been awhile and it is always so meaningful to spend time together when we can.  First stop...the farm!

They have 2 new kittens!  They are the sweetest and of course our resident, cat lady loves them!

We then traveled to Johnston to spend NYE with our other side of family.  We are looking so festive in our 2023 gear!

A must do is to always find an Iowan tenderloin!  It is Juliette's favorite!

We stopped by Peoria to see Shawn on our way home.

It was a quick but great time to see the fam.

 

End of December and Christmas

Truly grateful for this Christmas!  It was quite a fall for all of us and we are thankful for each other.  Celebrating each other is the biggest gift.

We were able to go to the annual Yuletide.  We had a marvelous time.

This year we put lights on the house and garage.  It was so warm, inviting and festive.
