 This morning we went to church, picked up some Jimmy Johns for lunch and had a picnic at one of our favorite spots in the city.  We had not been as a family to the IMA for a long time and it was a beautiful and warm morning...and I happened to have my camera in the car!  

 Isabelle is now officially taller than her mom!  The girls are all growing up so much!  It fills me with such joy and bittersweet with a tinge of sadness too!

 Homework...so much is done on the computer in middle school.

 Allie's FAVORITE class this quarter is ART!  Shocker, I know :)  She only has it this first quarter in her curriculum but she is so happy to have gotten into the art club in school!  She's working on her "sketch of the week" here.

Elementary has gotten away from homework this year.  Their philosophy stems from studies that have shown that homework at this age does very little to help their growth.  They do a lot of learning at school and want them to read and play (not on devices) at home.  This new approach makes Juliette happy (mom too)!

Juliette has joined her two sisters in learning to play the piano.  These beginning years also include pages of theory.  They aren't so overwhelming to deal with when you have a pile of M&Ms to eat when you complete each page.

We love our little town and their fall festival parade is always so fun and the kids get loads of candy too!  Isabelle got a chance to march with the Zionsville West Middle School as they combined bands to play "Ghostbusters"!  They did a GREAT job!!!

 We traveled to your Dad's hometown on Sunday and left Monday.  We had a nice time seeing your Grandpa, uncles, aunt and cousins there too!
