We were patiently waiting for Daddy to get home before we went to a birthday party and Isabelle looked so gorgeous next to the car I had to get a few shots.  She is such a natural beauty.

 Eve agrees that there is a whole new level of noise now with a trumpet player among us!  Isabelle has been doing well learning such classics as "Hot Cross Buns" and "Mary Had a Little Lamb".  She has been bringing her instrument home every other day to practice.  

 After school, we enjoy the fresh air and being outside after homework!

 I happened to have my camera and stumbled upon Juliette on the steps...looking so lost and tired.  Some of my favorite pictures of the girls are them with no smiles at all.

The day you learned to put in a pony-tail(s) all by yourself.  These firsts for you are coming at dizzying speed for this momma.  You are growing up with such a surge of independence but with a touch of shy-ness.  I feel happy that you are getting to be such a big girl but still hold you and cuddle you like you're a baby.  Just let me hold on to those moments and you can continue to wow me with all of your new skills.

It is the first day of your new ballet class this fall and you were beyond excited to go.  You have a few little friends there and just couldn't wait to get there.

It was just you and me (and the dog) this Friday night.  Your sisters were at their friends and Dad was at work.  It was a beautiful evening and you ran and played...Eve and you both took turns rolling in the grass and you practiced handstands and cartwheels.  We went for pizza and ice cream too.  Just you and me.

 Up in the classroom for Miss Miller to do a little teaching.  Juliette also likes to teach, so we have 2 Miss Miller's in school now!

This is a place in our house that I will forever see my little ones even when they are grown and gone. On, in, around the staircase.  Bounding up and down.  Stairs filled with clutter and cats.  Pictures on the wall that say hello on every step you take.

"Mommy...can you take my picture??"

When I hear those words I can't find my camera fast enough.

Juliette picked out her own poses, locations, and dressed herself.  We did her photo shoot in about 10 minutes with even an outfit change.  :)
