I love finding pictures like this of Isabelle "messing" around on my computer!

....because she makes one heck of a mess! Juliette is getting taller because she can now stand on her tippy toes to reach to the counter and table. She loves Lucky Charms...namely the marshmallows. She "helped" herself the other morning and found it easier to dump the entire box to sort it out. I am always reaching for the camera to catch these "real" moments. Am I also a bad mom when I admit that I let her chow down a bit occupied while I finished up getting lunches ready for school?

My dad's 70th birthday

This post is a bit behind, but in January all the siblings made the trip back for the weekend to surprise my Dad for his 70th birthday! It literally brought him to tears and it was so fun to catch up with them (quickly!). We were only able to stay until Sunday and of course the weather was a challenge, but we were so excited to share such a monumental birthday with him. Although we have had our differences in the past, I am so grateful to be his daughter. Love you Dad!

Superbowl Mania!

They had free concerts in Super bowl village daily. On Tuesday we saw a bit of Fuel. On Friday we heard Fitz and the Tantrums and also L.M.F.A.O. It was human gridlock on Friday night and we were so far back, we couldn't see the stage. But we were close to the Fire and Ice tent (aka heaters and beers) and the nicest port-o-pottys on the planet. They had screens everywhere.

Indy cars....every NFL team had one.

Tons of signs covered buildings and light shows and occasional fireworks all downtown.

Superbowl XLVI

Place in NFL experience that makes "the" footballs for the Superbowl. For a big price...they will even make yours.


Jamie should definitely keep his day job. Jamie and I had fun throwing and kicking balls at the NFL experience held in the Indiana Convention Center. We got the NFLXtra pass that enabled us to move to the front of the line for everything. Knowing how much Jamie loves lines and crowds, it was Xtra money well spent!
