Today after dinner
Allie
is just
too too
cute!
Isabelle takes a break from biking to chalk/paint with Juliette.
Straight to a bath she goes!!! Every night!
Juliette enjoys drawing with the chalk. I love how when she concentrates her little tongue comes out! Adorable!
August 24th
Juliette's first day of MDO!!!!! As you can tell...she loved it. The teachers have been there for 30 plus years and they didn't seem one bit rattled with all of the kids crying. When I picked up little Juju her eyes were red rimmed and blood shot. They said that she cried on and off but did fine. They did warn me that the 2nd week is usually worse for them. :(
After Juliette calmed down, I did have constant commentary from the back seat....bbrrrrrrddddeeeerrrrrdddddddeeeeeeeeppptttteeeeedooo. She is a chatter box....non stop syllables and voice inflections. When I finally figure out what she is saying...I am sure I will have an ear full.
August 22nd
Allie was over the moon when she saw her very own pencil box with school supplies in it! She walked right in and sat at her desk and started in on her morning work.
Ready to walk through the door.
Allie's 1st day of Pre-K! She was up early anticipating the start of school...like before 6 am! One thing that she can't wait to show her teachers this year???? "What a smarty pants I am!" She is too funny. She is obsessed with playing school at home, so she was ready to go back this fall.
Sunday fair highlights
An Isabelle favorite!
Juliette loves the animals.
watching part of a sheep show.
We happened to go to the State fair on its last day Sunday. We are still so saddened for all of those who were injured and killed during the stage collapse the 13th. It is amazing though hearing about the heroes that emerged during the tragedy to help and save those that were hurt.
August 15th
Isabelle is my big 1st grader!!! She was so excited to start school this year! She said she looked forward to meeting new friends and playing with old friends, riding the school bus and also learning. She has Mrs Williams this year and has 23 kids in her class. When I picked her up at 3:30 she talked the whole way home about her day. It was so sweet!

Indiana State Fair 2011
On the farm
I did it. I made it from Indiana to Iowa with the 3 girls! By myself! I am so proud of me!!!! The ride went better then expected...but thank goodness for DVD players! We had a fun few days catching up with family. It was a short stay but tons of fun. The girls love to be outside, the animals and to play with their cousins. They also liked ice cream at Grandpa and Grandma's and polka dancing at night.
Isabelle and Sadie
Seen through the screen window...
Isabelle was overjoyed when she realized that Grandpa and Grandpa had a couple kittens hanging around the house. They weren't tame, but that didn't stop Isabelle from trying to catch them constantly!
going up-side down with Grandpa Koss.
Juliette's first sucker.
Why, thank you Grandma.
Grandpa bringing out a few piglets to pet for the girls.
Isabelle posing with the cutest piggies ever.
Grandpa and his 3 Miller granddaughters.
Juliette inspects the piggies. One finger to touch the snout which immediately went into her mouth.
