ZooBoo
I can't think of a better way to get into the Halloween spirit then visit the zoo decorated with skeletons, ghosts, spiderwebs and witches with your little ones in costume to do some early trick-or-treating. Isabelle and Allie always enjoy the "Ocean" exhibit and the favorites (upon asking them) being "zebras" for Isabelle, while Allie was super excited about the "g-aff" (giraffe). Isabelle kept asking where she could get the candy while Allie was in super daze from deciding that she didn't need a nap that day.

Honey Creek Park
Iowa vs. Wisconsin
Shonn Greene after his 4th touchdown.
Wow! We have been able to make it back for a 2nd game. Jamie, (the crazy Hawkeye fanatic) has season tickets even though we live hundreds of miles away. We were able to go with my brother and sister along with Jamie's brother. We made it a family affair and were happy to see that the Hawkeyes had another victory!

Uncle Shawn
IMA
Isabelle and Allie inspect a fountain in the formal gardens at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
Here...
catch!
The IMA is one our favorite places in the city. The grounds and gardens are amazingly beautiful, quiet, and a great place for a picnic. The trees were bright and vibrant, and the weekend was warm and sunny...perfect!
The Lilly mansion.
New pedicures...
Allie is highly addicted to TV, namely Diego and Dora. I made the mistake of keeping our DVD players in the car and not reserving them only for long trips, and now realize that we can't make it 5 minutes without the start of D-D-D-Dora, Dora, Dora, Dora the Explorer. Maybe if I wouldn't give in to the screeches and groaning..but I do realize that I am a much happier (and safer) driver while my kids are quiet and frying their brains with cartoons. Chalk it up to another thing that "I said that I will never ever do when I have kids".
