We love Chicago! It is a quick 3 hour drive to downtown (depending on traffic) and just has so many things to see and do! We stayed just blocks from the Lake and Michigan Avenue. After breakfast at the Wild Berry cafe (yum yum...thanks for the suggestions Vicki!), we enjoyed some time in Millennium park in the Illinois sunshine!

In Crown Fountain, a glass and brick art/splash pad area. The faces on the brick change periodically. We then met Shawn and Andrea for coffee and a walk.
Wheeling around the Bitty baby area...she decided hers needed a new swimsuit! :)
Isabelle and Allie visited the doll salon and picked out styles for Rebecca and Kanai and also got them a new outfit to wear. They were so excited to do this!
After this, we walked down Michigan Ave, got some late lunch to go at Cosi's and drove about 2 hours to St. Joseph, Michigan.
The girls couldn't wait to get some beach time! Juliette was practically half dressed searching for her swimsuit when we arrived at the hotel! :)
The weather was in the 70s and the water was so cold! Not like it matters to these beach bums!
