The day you watched your big sister and wished you could have pedals too.  I sometimes look toward the future too and am scared how fast it will seem for you to ride away from childhood.  I hope you don't forget these moments...the sun...the summer...

The day that I found the two of you curled up while you gently tickled her nose.

The day after a rain that you played with umbrellas.  Sticky fudge popsicles joined smeared face paint as it melted all over you but that smile says being messy is part of being a kid in summer.

The umbrella became houses and Allie transformed all in Paris pink to join her sisters in their make believe town.  The muggy summer afternoon becomes anything and everything when you have your imagination to take you there.

The day we ventured to Conner Prairie and were transported back in time to the pioneer days.

This is a living history farm and Prairietown is set in 1836 where characters dress and act from that period.
You three love to hear about life back in the 1830s and when you can dress up and act like you are made it even more fun.

at the doctor's house where a house call would cost the patient 50 cents.
Watching at the pottery shop.  She explained to you that only boys got to go to school and learn to read and write since they would be the ones to take over the family business.
 the store
Juliette paying attention to the teacher at the "Schoolhouse".  School begins in December and if you didn't have money to pay for it that people would exchange goods or services for their child to attend.

In the barn where you can pet the friendliest animals.

We wanted to take a "kid" home with us.  So so very soft and cute.

The day that you, Isabelle turned the camera on me.  Such an ordinary summer afternoon, but with such extraordinary daughters.  I am ever so grateful for your love and adoration.

The day we went to Saint Louis for a fun weekend.  We stopped downtown and had plans to possibly go up in the arch but the tickets available were much later then we wanted.
So, we checked out the very informative museum that they have inside the arch and learned a little about American history.

We had a relaxing time eating popsicles and ice cream and enjoyed a beautiful sunny day.
 My little firecrackers.

We got tickets for the game that evening and watched the Cardinals pull off a win.  We watched fireworks from our seats.
We were lucky enough to see the cousins and your aunt and uncle for a brief time as they happened to be in St. Louis at the same time we were.

Concessions are our best friend getting through 9 innings.

We stayed with our friends and enjoyed their family...3 boys which complimented our 3 girls so well!

 On the roof

a favorite of the girls was a non skate park that they could run up and down and slide all around.

On Saturday we went to the City Museum which was one of the most unique and crazy places I have been to!  The kids had so much fun (even though there were a few injuries).  They played in huge tree house mazes, explored an indoor cave in the belly of a whale, made some clay masterpieces, danced the lindy hop, played in ball pits, drove a school bus suspended on the 13th floor of the roof, went down insane slides, went through metal coil tunnels mid-air to board a real airplanes among many other things.
