Family dinner!

Despite our busy schedules, we have been able to have a few “family dinners” out where we dress up and enjoy restaurants and each other’s company.  It has been a lot of fun connecting this way.

Midsommar

A nod to their Swedish roots, Jamie has always dreamed of having a Midsommar party. We did a trial run for our five and even consulted our relatives in Sweden!  Complete with flower crowns, white clothes, an outdoor dinner of meatballs, strawberry cake, and lutefisk we made Sweden come to the Ville. Jamie even had constructed a midsommarstång.  We will work on the dancing for next year!

We had a few graduation parties but this one was really special! Friends since birth and now our babies are going to college and growing up. Always do fun to see the Guffeys and celebrate Jaden!

We have had some rough days with our aging pets, but there is only one roughest day, and that is when you have to say goodbye.  Russell has been a one of a kind, extraordinary, tolerant and sweet and the softest fur imaginable. He will be missed by us all, but Allie will certainly miss him the most.  He was a special bunny.

 

Our new addition

 

After years and years of admiring an adjacent property, it is now ours!!!! We added 2 1/2 plus acres of green space, trees, a creek and a lot of animals and birds who call it home. We are thrilled to keep it natural in our town that is developing quickly.
