Thanksgiving in Solon was an absolute blast!  We started off the day at the Cedar Rapids Turkey Trot 5K.  This was the first year doing it and we had the biggest team, #kossflocktrot with 18 family members.  It was a cold morning...but we were rewarded with Donutland Donuts at the end.  Sprinkles are for winners!  

We then joined the rest of the crew for a delicious Thanksgiving meal.  We were missing just a few family members, but all 8 siblings were there.  It was such a fun day!

11.24.2019 Nutcracker Short & Suite preview

Our sweet "Clara" danced so beautifully at the Nutcracker preview at the Arts Garden!  The group did a great job and we can't wait to see them perform soon!

We had a foreign exchange student stay with us for 10 days.  Agathe is from a village near Mulhouse in the Alsace region in France.  The girls became fast friends and we had fun showing her all things American and Hoosier while she visited!  We went to a Pacers game, church, out to eat having her try hot dogs, s'mores, cheesecake, Pink drink, and burgers to name a few, a fancy brunch at the Cake Bake, games with the "sisters" and a lot of other things through the school.  It was a quick and fun time and we learn so much about ourselves and other cultures when we open our home and our hearts .
