Its recital time! The girls have a great year dancing at the Village Dance Studio. They do a recital every other year and this one was "When the Stars Align". Allie participates in 3 classes, Ballet IV, Dance Fusion, and Tap III. Isabelle did Musical Theatre I. Juliette does Ballet I. They all looked so adorable in their costumes before their rehearsal tonight.
This is Allie's sweet friend who she takes classes with.
It was Young Author's Day in first grade and I got to hear the beautifully written and illustrated book by my young author, Juliette. "The Lost Dog" starred a dog named Eve who went through a journey, getting lost in a jungle and meeting a friend named Leah and they eventually found their way home. She and her classmates did a fantastic job reading them aloud as well. It was adorable!
We have had a lot of construction going on at our house, in and out. With our inside remodel almost finished and our backyard almost half-way done...we are ready to have our home back to ourselves!!! Juliette spent some time after school helping me plant an herb garden on our deck. We love to be outside and so it has been hard to not have the freedom to go out when we desire. We are hoping for things to be wrapping up in June.
Isabelle was overjoyed to finally pick up her 4-H rabbit project. She is a year old and so pretty and soft. She has quite an attitude and will "talk" to you especially when she is displeased. She also gets a little jumpy and nippy too! Isabelle has been working with her, feeding/watering and also cleaning out her cage. She lives outside in a hutch. She will show Hera in July at our county fair.
