We are so excited that the Smiths and Grandma made this more then a one time event!  They came late on Friday night and left on Monday morning!  We all had a blast!  On Saturday, Jamie, Grandma and I went to the Yuletide!  So fun!  Saturday evening everyone met at the zoo to see the light display and say hello to a few animals too.  The weather was so nice and unseasonably warm too!  It was 75 degrees today!  We took them to Bub's Burgers for dinner.

"I want a Lego set, bubble gum, an American girl dog and bed and Barbies"

"I want a Lego set, an iPod and Mr. Sketch markers"

"I want a Kindle"

Playing in the Jolly days area.  It looks smaller every year they are here!

The cooking area is always a favorite of theirs too.

This is a new exhibit of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

We skipped Wednesday night activities to go to the IUPUI holiday night at the Children's Museum where we listened to live holiday music, dined on salad and chicken nuggets and desserts and had a great time.

We went to the Yuletide celebration today featuring Sandy Patty.  This is always a favorite holiday tradition for us!  Shawn was able to come with us too and we ate at Rock Bottom with some friends too.  We saw the lights at the Circle Center  and the girls ran up and down the stairs.

A few iPhone pictures from our evening downtown watching our city of Indy be mobbed by gold and black for the B1G 10 championship game against Michigan State.  It was fun to be in a sea of Hawkeyes and be with friends and family.  The Hawkeyes lost in a crushing last second touchdown but we are proud of the team and how they played.  We stayed and stood up with the remaining Hawkeyes to give the team the standing ovation they deserved!

Isabelle had a great morning participating in her last Candy Cane Classic which is a swim meet for kids 10 and under.  She did well completing her 5 events and dropped seconds off her last personal times.  She had planned to take a break from swimming for awhile but after the meet wanted to change her mind since she realized how much she enjoys it.

Her first ride on a yellow school bus!  She sat so quietly and stared out the window on our 45 minute ride to Fishers.

We stepped back into the pioneer age and listened to the book version at the Conner Prairie farm and then saw the Innkeepers wife make her own.  She said that the gingerbread boy ran off and so the kids all went and asked the animals if they had seen him.

We found the Gingerbread boy inside and had a little dance party and they decorated cookies too.

Conner Prairie had gingerbread houses on display and so we could see the decorations and detail.

I was so excited to accompany Juliette and her kindergarten class on an adorable field trip to Conner Prairie.  They have been working on the story, "The Gingerbread Man" at school.
