{This is Our Life} 42.52 {Be in the portrait...again!}

I am completely cheating on this one since this was taken at John and Jill's wedding on Saturday...but here I am in the portrait with my beautiful girls.  I wanted this picture to show us all looking so pretty on their special day.  Thank you to my sister for being able to get us all in focus and looking at the camera!  Not an easy feat!  :)

Isabelle's first swim meet

Isabelle is participating in the Zionsville Swim Club this year.  She is having so much fun and meeting new friends and is learning a lot about swimming as well!  On Friday, she had her first meet and was so brave and did a great job!  We are so proud of you Isabelle!

   I love seeing the happiness on our faces, how we are smiling so hard that our eyes are closed.

  I know you will all find many...many photographs of you but few of us and that is something I hope to change.  Your happiness is truly reflected on our faces and I want you to be able to hold that photograph in your hands and one day see how much we cared about you.

{This is Our Life} 40.52 {Empty}

My days are far from empty even when you are in school for 6 hours a day. 

 I think about the day though that you all find yourself not in your childhood home, making dreams your reality and seeking out your purpose.  I will have empty rooms and silence when  I don't crave it.  I won't be stepping on Barbie shoes and cleaning up endless papers in every corner of rooms.  I won't be driving you to your activities or pouring over homework.  Emptiness will come but you will have made my life so enriched and full.

I am so blessed and thankful

 beyond my wildest dreams

 to be the among the luckiest as I am a mom to Isabelle,

 Alexandria

 and Juliette

 and everyday I get to wake up to these beautiful

 faces.

Stuckey farm

We met the Guffey's for our annual trip to Stuckey Farms in Sheridan.  We are so limited by schedules and school commitments that we lucky to get together when we do!  We love our friends and the memories we have doing activities like this!  Juliette and Preston ate their body weight in apples, we had fun on the tractor ride and enjoyed cider slushies and a short time to play on the outdoor play-set.
