Happy 6th birthday Allie!!!

 Favorite number?  6
"I want to be a teacher when I grow up and my favorite activity is playing school"
"My favorite colors are pink and purple and my least favorite color is red"."
"If I could have a super power I would fly"

 My favorite book?  "Charlotte's Web"
Favorite song? "Trouble, trouble by Taylor Swift"

I just love how Allie has her hand over her chest.  They were so long since they were sparkler candles but didn't "spark" enough!
 Make a wish gorgeous girl!

4 Kids Books and Toys...Allie is turning 6!

Allie celebrated with a few of her friends and sisters at her birthday party this Saturday!  They provided the fun and games and I sat back and took a few pictures.  She had a wonderful time at her pop star/diva themed party!  Her favorite part was "opening presents and balloon volleyball".  :)
1st they started with a painting craft.
Then they got to pick out some very cool hats, glasses and necklaces.
 Such a ham!
After present opening and the birthday song they decorated cupcakes with jelly beans, m&ms and sprinkles.

frosting is usually the best part...

Games included happy, happy, birthday (duck, duck, goose), limbo, and parachute.
When everyone else had left...Juliette continued on her mission to consume the most candy and sprinkles of the group.

Those eyes!

They slay me!

{This is Our Life} 10.52 {Changes}

Yes, Juliette is in the kitchen breakfast nook sitting happily on her potty seat, drawing with markers (that are most likely non-washable) in a completely mismatched outfit watching "Blue's Clues" while a pile of chocolate eggs (before dinner of course) is sitting as bribery on the counter, as complete chaos surrounds her (I know my house is a wreck), thanks for noticing a clean beer glass next to the sink (my kids know that I enjoy an occasional beverage), but hey she is my third, no judging is needed.  Cha-cha- changes happen every day and my 2 1/2 year old is potty trained.  Small victories.
And yes...it is the 21st century...and that happens to be an iPad balanced precariously on her lap so very close to water.  When chocolate eggs don't cut the long potty breaks...the iPad always does.
After weeks of pulling on panties and throwing away the diaper herself, I finally attempted the training.  Cadbury eggs also helped the matter.  She might be my smartest kid yet.  :)
For someone claiming to be "sooo big" she certainly looks so small.

The aftermath of 1 minute alone in the bathroom.  A girl needs her privacy!  Thank goodness for Costco sized bulk TP.

2 hour delay

In what I am hoping is the last snow for the season left a beautifully breath-taking Wednesday morning.    The girls had a 2 hour delay so they rushed to get their snow gear on to take advantage of the fresh fallen snow.  The trees were just gorgeous and the branches drooped creating canopies in our back-yard for the girls to "play house and make ice cream" and also pretend they were wild animals in their dens.

my baby

Sometimes you capture those pictures that you can see a glimpse of the stunning woman they will become.
